JOB SUMMARY:  The Senior Engineer, Systems Integration, Digital Banking is responsible for the build and test of integration services across the digital banking ecosystem. This role is a part of an integration specialists team and works closely with other departments such as IT, Operations, and Business Units, to ensure seamless integration of systems and processes. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build technology features and functions to progress the product requirements of Forbright Bank’s Digital Banking ecosystem on the distributed and cloud platforms 
  • Serve as a core member of an agile based development team, writing code and unit tests, automations, and deployments 
  • Mentor more junior engineers and peers alike 
  • Build microservices using Docker, Node.JS, Kafka, and Relational and NOSQL databases on the AWS cloud platform 
  • Work on Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment using native AWS or other technologies 
  • Work on developing observability capabilities as part of fundamental technology framework 
  • Collaborate with peers in the development and product teams 
  • Perform other duties as assigned  

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or related field; or equivalent relevant experience required 
  • 6-8 years of software engineering experience required 
  • 6-8 years of Agile scrum methodology experience required 
  • 6-8 years of CICD experience required 
  • 3-5 years of AWS experience preferred 
  • Experience with AWS Cloud, Confluent Kafka, Node.js or equivalent 
  • Knowledge of Java, Python, C, C++ and other programming languages 
  • Technical and project management experience, with a proven track record of managing complex technology projects 
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills with tech and business audiences 
  • Travel: 10% Possible once a month travel for a few days 
The pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. $120,000 (entry level qualifications) to $150,000 (highly experienced).
