We are located at 400 Highland Ave in Salem MA. As an Internal Medicine office, we provide outstanding primary care and preventative health care to adult patients. We are constantly aiming to improve access for patients and to meet the evolving health care needs of the communities we serve. Primary care is all about relationship-building! We pride ourselves on our empathetic and compassionate approach to focused patient care. The whole team really gets to know our patients to ensure that they are receiving exceptional, personalized care in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere.
Job Summary
We are seeking a full time, 40-hour Medical Assistant to support our practice onsite. Our practice is open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. We are seeking a nationally certified medical assistant with experience administering vaccinations. Our practice is active and well-established, so prior experience in a medical setting is strongly preferred.Responsibilities include:
-Ensuring efficient patient flow through the office
-Assisting during office visits (rooming, examinations, procedures, and -treatments as directed)
-Performing clinically appropriate tasks related to coordination of care (general patient guidance, test results, prescription refills, etc.)
-Maintaining neat, clean, and safe patient care areas
-Interacting with patients and their families in a professional, friendly manner consistent with their needs
Qualifications
Required:
High School diploma/GED
Either BLS or Annual Manikin training including CPR and AED after 6 months of hire
Additional Job Details (if applicable)
Preferred:
Medical Assistant Course or diploma program or a minimum of 1-year professional experience
National MA Certification via AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT
