Director, Account Executive, CardWhat does a successful Director, Account Executive - Credit Card Services do?
- As the Director of Account Executives for Credit Card Services at Fiserv, you will manage a team responsible for sales, revenue, and client satisfaction.
- This role requires a strong knowledge of the payments industry and an understanding of large banks and credit unions.
- You will interact with executive-level clients and their management teams, leveraging your interpersonal skills to successfully navigate Fiserv’s matrix organization and cultivate long-term relationships with key individuals.
What you will do:
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key senior-level decision makers and influencers at select client groups.
- Serve as an industry expert, communicating relevant industry trends and best practices to clients.
- Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with senior management to understand their needs and link them to Fiserv’s product/service strategies.
- Serve as the senior face of Fiserv to clients for Card Services, articulating our vision and direction.
- Act as an escalation point for internal and external issues, managing them to closure.
- Set direction and provide strategic support in developing and executing Card Services account plans.
- Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Direct strategic analysis of market trends, competition, and identification of new growth opportunities.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or equivalent military experience.
- 8+ years of experience in sales or account management in a business-to-business environment.
- 8+ years of management experience.
- Proficiency in a variety of systems applications, including MS-Office and sales tracking tools.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
What would be great to have:
- 8+ years of experience managing and growing relationships with large, complex organizations.
- 8+ years of experience in sales and negotiating techniques.
- 8+ years of knowledge of business and operations in the financial/technology industry.
- Significant experience working in the Financial Services Industry.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to C-suite level clients.

Salary Range
$99,200.00 - $211,100.00These pay ranges apply to employees in Illinois, California and District of Columbia. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
