The Technical Service Inside Sales is responsible for quoting, proposing, retaining, supporting, and growing the commercial service business in Americas for Energy+ and Food & Beverage business.

This role works closely with the commercial team, service team, Com-Ops team and service manager to ensure the quotation and proposal meet customer requirements and are deliver on time.

In addition, with the support of other technical support functions in the Global Shared Service team, the successful candidate should be able to determine correct product selection and technically size most appropriate solution that better fits customer needs for rental projects.

As part of the Global Service group and Global Shared Services / Service Insides Sales team, this position reports to the Global Service Inside Sales Leader and will be ONSITE at either of our facilities in DeLand, Fl, Port Washington, NY OR Cortland, NY.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Work across multiple service markets for Pall. Technically clarifying customer requests and generating service proposals for new and existing customer, with timely follow up and feedback provided for all customer issues to leaders
• Drive improvement in service contract business including timeliness of renewals, warranty conversions and selling new services. Service as point of contact to customers, sales, field service engineers and supplier with the objective of retaining growing business.
• Direct sales of contract, including pricing and proposals. Work closely with Service Management to identify opportunities, provide leads, and add service agreements. Provide leads to Service Management and outside Service Sales by leveraging customer purchasing trends on service / suppliers / parts.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent AND at least 3 years of experience in a technical commercial internal sales role is required.
• Demonstrated experience working within the service, technical, and/or filtration business environment is required.
• Experience working within the industrial (i.e., chemical, petro-chemical, etc.) or Food & Beverage markets is required.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience in internal sales / technical selling
• Working within a global environment

The hourly range for this role is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
