Warehouse Associate

Detailed Description:

Start Time: 3:00 AM ~ 9:00 AM 

Schedule: No Weekends

Base Pay: $18.40/hour (Material Handler) 

 

Potential Duties / Responsibilities:

• Unload/load merchandise by forklift, pallet jack or by hand.
• Stage merchandise and verify pallet count.
• Operate a handheld scanner.
• Identify the merchandise and place the correct label on the product.
• Stack/Restack and wrap product to prepare merchandise to be transported
• Communicate any overages, shortages and/or damages to Supervisor
• Audit any of the daily inventory reports; transits, lost sales, back stock audits, deleted locations, receipt exceptions, and out of stock.
• Communicate with vendors and buyers, customers and customer service when a problem exists with merchandise.
• Prepare manifest for salvage and schedules pick up.

 

Additional Need:

• Must be able to meet quality and productivity standards.
• Ability to take direction from Supervisor.
• Excellent attendance and reliable predictability a must
• Adheres to DC housekeeping guidelines
• Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well

 

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to work 100% of the time moving about in the work area
• Must be able to pass a physical lifting assessment, and perform work tasks while bending, stooping, lifting, and squatting
• Must be able to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
