Senior VMware Solutions Architect (pre-sales)

Job Summary:

This exciting opportunity is full-time and permanent with Pellera Technologies. The Senior Solutions Architect will work directly with clients while supporting our sales team. The ability to clearly articulate solutions and services to our existing client base and prospects is essential. Involvement in client opportunities start with the initial client meeting and continue through the design phases of the solution. Candidate must possess extensive subject matter expertise in a core data center domain, with a critical focus on Advanced Virtualization. Required skills must encompass expert-level proficiency in the design and operation of the complete VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) stack, including vSphere, vSAN, and NSX-T architectures, as well as working knowledge of other major virtualization platforms such as Microsoft Hyper-V or KVM layers. Essential Functions:

• Lead technical sessions on innovative data center solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Organize dynamic sales and training sessions on cutting-edge data center technologies.
• Build strong relationships with Pellera's enterprise solution partners to drive collaboration.
• Attain sales and technical certifications to enhance expertise in data center solutions.
• Stay up to date on technical challenges and trends for strategic insights.
• Support clients in their digital transformation with audit, architecture, consulting, implementation, and training.
• Identify and validate cloud solution opportunities that integrate with existing systems.
• Assess cloud solutions for functionality, service availability, and performance.
• Evaluate hybrid platform solutions to find the best organizational fit.
• Ensure technical feasibility for smooth integration, data exchange, and migration processes.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience in cloud platforms is required.
• One or more VMware Certified Professional certifications such as VCF, VCAP, VCDX, VCIX, VCAP are required.
• 10+ years of experience in architecting and implementing data center / cloud solutions.
• VMware specific skills such as virtualization of servers, storage, and networks; operations management; orchestration and automation; virtual desktop infrastructure and cloud foundation are required.
• Ability to design and provide intermediate architecture on Software Define Infrastructure.
• General knowledge of Containers and Native Cloud Services.
Physical Requirements:
• This position is remote but a candidate must be able to travel up to 25% for client pre-sales efforts.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.


Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
