Description

 

The Finance Manager will be responsible for analyzing and reporting business unit performance, supporting business leaders and cross functional teams to drive profitable growth and return on investment, and leading and maintaining a strong internal control environment.

This position is based at our Corporate Headquarters in Wood Dale, IL, with a planned relocation to the Merchandise Mart (Chicago) in early 2027.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Analyze and report business unit performance on a monthly and quarterly basis focusing on critical business drivers.
  • Partner with Accounting team to ensure accuracy of financial statements and adherence with internal controls.
  • Support monthly forecasting and annual budgeting efforts including free cash flow.
  • Assist with financial data for BOD meetings and analyst calls.
  • Assist with external audit requests.
  • Assist with financial models prepared in support of new business.
  • Identify trends and recommend improvements accordingly.
  • Maintain frequent communication with and provide guidance and support to senior leadership helping to ensure they are implementing actions to exceed annual financial plans.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance financial and operational performance.
  • Build partnerships and strong rapport with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of multiple factors and departments.
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented individual.
  • Assist and/or lead Ad hoc requests.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; and five + years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced Pivot table skills.
  • Hyperion and/or Lawson experience preferred.

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $109,000 to $132,000 annually. This range reflects the base salary for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for a bonus. AAR o
