The Business Systems team are the go-to advocates for employees when we need help with different systems at Accruent and our sister companies, Gordian & ServiceChannel (collectively known as the Facilities Asset Lifecycle group - “FAL”). This team is dedicated to providing innovative, resilient, and secure systems to empower Accruent's employees and set teams up for success! We find areas for automation and improvement to enable operational standard processes. We are seeking a technical and collaborative individual help us unlock customer insights across key back-office tools.
As part of the Business Systems team, the Senior Business Systems Analyst role is responsible for documenting requirements, user stories, and success criteria. The person in this role will work with cross functional stakeholders and lead exploration discussions and requirement gathering sessions. This person will work with System Leads and System Administrators to provide solution advice and drive consensus. This role will also lead user acceptance testing and support System Administrators in testing and debugging. The role is essential in refining user ideas into requirements which can be delivered successfully by development team, which can be in-house or 3rd party.
The ideal candidate will be interested in solving problems, creating processes, tinkering under the hood of large enterprise business systems, and over delivering when it comes to quality!
This position reports directly to the Senior Manager of Business Systems and will be a remote, work from home position.
How you'll make a difference:
- Gathering and documentation of requirements
- Daily / weekly / monthly / quarterly reporting and communication
- Mastering the processes driving our customer data, such that data mapping is clear & stable
- Reporting success metrics on previous work to inform business value of other proposed solutions
- Provide problem-solving support, advice and guidance to internal customers – you’re the go-to authority on customer insights across multiple platforms
- Document success criteria and coordinate user acceptance testing
What you bring to the table:
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Independent researcher – someone who digs into the problem before asking others for a solution
- High comfort level working with customer success organizations – you’re used to discussing customer health indicators and the data points driving them
- Critical thinking – you know first-hand that the first solution may not be the best solution, and you are comfortable driving standard processes
- 5+ years’ corporate experience
- Ability to simplify and drive consensus
- Self-starter, proactive approach – you want ownership from problem to solution, and are invested in sustained success
- Salesforce.com Administrator certificate a plus
- Gainsight Associate Admin certificate strongly preferred

The salary range for this position is $77,600 - $144,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of the compensation package.
Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
