Global Repair Services is currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join a fast moving dynamic team who will be instrumental in supporting general accounting and analysis within the Miramar team.  This role will primarily focus on sales and P&L performance as well as contributing analysis to determine present and future financial performance. 

Miramar Repair is located in Miramar, FL and employs approximately 200 employees. It is part of Collins Aerospace Systems, a global organization of over 70,000 employees worldwide.

What You Will Do

• Support the site controller
• Help prepare journal entries and account reconciliations by business unit
• Financial reporting of actuals, forecast, and weekly LE updates with variance analyses to plan
  • P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow
  • Backlog
  • Cost Summit and Productivity reporting
  • Ad hoc reports
• Validate monthly site reporting in HFM is complete and accurate
• Assist in supporting IATA I Repair finance initiatives, annual plan and financial presentations
• Work effectively with internal customers   
• Help maintain and strengthen the control environment including Sarbanes-Oxley and other control related activities, adherence to company policies and procedures,

What You Will Learn

• MRO Operations experience from induction to invoicing
• Separate legal entity with full Profit & Loss/Balance Sheet responsibilities
• Situational ad-hoc analysis unique to MRO business
• Hands on experience on various systems (SAP, OneStream, Tableau, BI etc) that can help streamline financial processes and reporting
• Best practices across the MRO sites and learn to improve processes for efficiency using the RTX CORE system

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer

• Master’s Degree
• Knowledge of US GAAP
• CPA/CMA
• SAP experience
• Experience with HFM
