The Fidelity Intern Program (FIDTERN Program) 

Fidelity’s full-time, paid, 10-week FIDTERN Program offers students the opportunity to contribute to meaningful, real-world work and projects as valued members of a dedicated team.  

  

Our program is designed to provide students with a firsthand experience of what it’s like to work here full-time. We deliver a best-in-class program experience to ensure interns feel a sense of belonging and community, while receiving critical training and development to be a future Fidelity associate. • Regional Events: Build connections with leaders and fellow interns through engaging onsite experiences and unwind with your peers at fun local outings (like go-karting, pickleball, or bowling).  

The Role 

 

Supercharge your early career and growth at Fidelity with personalized support, knowledgeable career guides and celebration of your achievements, while learning about Fidelity and building skills and experiences. In this role, you will be a front facing-client intern. You'll be job shadowing other associates listening on phone calls and start taking calls on your own as we help you build confidence and get the customer facing experience in real time. Engage in dedicated time each week to connect and refuel – by completing individual/group tasks & projects, networking with colleagues, and building client relationships. This internship could lead into sales or customer service full time roles, such as the Financial Customer Associate.

• Demonstrate empathy and passion for helping people and ensure an excellent customer experience through a phone interaction 

• Effective communication   

• Desire to establish rapport and relationships with customers and the team through effective communication  

• A strong interest in financial services

• Ability to handle different types of situations, emotions and conversations driving towards a resolution suitable for all  

• Current college student (undergraduate or graduate) who will return to coursework after their summer internship 

• Availability for entire 10-week program from June 1st – August 7th, 2026, and required to align to our hybrid working model
