Mobile Food Pantry Coordinator
This position is responsible for our mobile food pantry operations including coordinating staff, volunteers, and logistics to ensure efficient food distribution while maintaining compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
Job Responsibilities:

Oversees entire operation of mobile pantry distribution by coordinating staff and volunteers participating in food programs. Duties include recording attendance, assignments of daily roles, onsite training, and executes on their roles.

Coordinates the food from truck with deliveries for the mobile pantry. Operates a pallet jack either of the electric or manual kind in compliance with machinery requirements. Responsible for unloading, stocking shelves, cold storage units and maintaining a clean work environment that follows food safety, sanitation guidelines and programmatic requirements.

Responsibly and safely drives agency vehicles and follows all traffic and safety laws and regulations as well as agency policies and procedures. Reports vehicle maintenance, need repairs, incidents, and accidents to Program Director. Adheres to scheduled service routes.

Responsible for warm and hospitable client engagement. Serves clients in a respectful manner and respects their dietary needs. Compassionate and understanding attitude towards individuals facing food insecurity.

Collaborate closely with the client navigator to effectively address client needs. Maintain proactive communication with site partner point of contact to ensure smooth operational relationships.

Responsible for maintaining knowledge of the program and agency updates by attending meetings and reviewing email correspondence.

Completes special projects with other staff and departments as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Relevant Education:
Preferred: Associate's Degree
Minimum: High School
Relevant Experience:
Preferred: 2 Years experience in food delivery and/or preparation.
Minimum: 1 Year work history.
Proficiency in basic computer tasks such as data entry, email communication, using spreadsheet software, generating reports and maintaining accurate records.
Efficiently manage time to deliver food promptly.
Familiarity with efficient use of navigation apps or GPS systems.
