Full-Time Weekend RN

 

Location: 3205 N Twyman Rd, Independence, MO 64058Hourly Pay Rate: $40 - $45

Schedule Options:

  • Friday - Sunday, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
  • Friday - Sunday, 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM  

Are you a compassionate and skilled nurse ready to make a real impact in adolescent mental health? Every day as a Registered Nurse at Embark Behavioral Health, you'll be a trusted source of care and support for teens (ages 12-17)—assessing their needs, administering medications, and ensuring they feel safe and heard. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, communicate with families, and advocate for students in their healing journey. Responsibilities

What you'll do:

 

  • Be a trusted caregiver by assessing and responding when a student isn’t feeling well.
  • Support student well-being by monitoring vitals, administering medications, and tracking health progress.
  • Collaborate with families and the care team by sharing important medical updates and advocating for student needs.
  • Coordinate medical care by assisting with lab draws, TB tests, and clinic visits.
  • Ensure safety and accuracy by tracking and documenting medications, including narcotics, every shift.
  • Play a key role in the healing journey by observing and documenting mood, behavior, and overall health.

Qualifications

Required Certifications:

 

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri
  • CPR Certification

 

Required Skills:

 

  • Experience in medication administration and patient care
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, nursing techniques, and legal charting
  • Ability to assess vital signs and communicate medical information effectively
  • Experience in health insurance submission processes and electronic charting systems

 

Preferred Experience:

 

  • Bedside hospital experience
  • Experience in diabetic care
