A Day in the Life

Within our Diabetes Finance team, we are looking to expand our Analytics capabilities. You will be joining a newly designed team focused on designing and developing models that are aiding in our business Transformation. With this role, you will be partnering with Senior Leadership as well as our internal finance team to move our analytics forward. This role with be producing Dashboard’s and other key analytics model that will be consumed weekly by Senior Leadership. As well as collaborating with our broader finance team to streamline and automate our analytics to produce key KPI’s.

With your expertise, we will lean on you to collaborate with the finance team to coordinate key improvements in our reporting and analytics. This will include but not limited to enhancing Excel reporting to become more streamlined, migrating large data sets into Dashboards for leadership usage, and automate processes to reduce manual work.

A Day in the Life:

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Develops, inspects, transforms, and models’ data to raise productivity and improve decision making
• Conducts financial analysis on data and information to ensure correct predictive forecasting or classification.
• Manages all aspects of end-to-end data processing utilizing customized report building functions of systems.
• Maintains analytical systems, verifies the accuracy of the data, and acts as a liaison to the business.
• Work with Speed and decisiveness to produce new reports.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of work experience in Data Analytics or an Advanced degree with internship experience

Proficiency in Power BI

• Expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Ability to create and manage Power BI datasets, reports and dashboards.

Data Modeling

• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts
• Proficiency in creating relationships between different data sources.

Data Visualization

• Strong sense of design and ability to create visually appealing and insightful reports.
• Proficiency in using various Power BI visuals and custom visuals.

Business Skills

• Ability to gather and understand business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and reporting solutions.

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across different departments.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and report reliability.

Basic Knowledge of SAP

Basic Finance Acumen

Nice to Have

Understanding financial statements (P&L, FCF, Balance Sheet, etc.)

Desire to interface with Senior Leadership

SQL

• Strong SQL skills for querying and managing data from relational databases.
• Experience in optimizing SQL queries for performance.

Programming Languages:

• Familiarity with Python or R for advanced data analytics and custom visual creation.
