About the role
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Translate application storyboards and functional use cases into high-quality software solutions.</li><li>Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code according to modern industry standards.</li><li>Integrate diverse data storage solutions including relational databases, key-value stores, and blob storage.</li><li>Identify performance bottlenecks and bugs, implementing effective solutions to maintain application responsiveness.</li><li>Collaborate with central teams to enhance DevOps capabilities and internal CI/CD processes.</li><li>Maintain high code quality through automation, unit testing, and rigorous version control practices.</li></ul>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>10+ years of professional experience in backend development using <strong>.NET</strong>, <strong>.NET Core</strong>, <strong>.NET 8</strong>, and <strong>REST API</strong>.</li><li>8+ years of expertise in software architecture, <strong>microservices</strong>, <strong>design patterns</strong>, and <strong>clean architecture</strong>.</li><li>5+ years of hands-on experience with <strong>Microsoft Azure</strong> services such as <strong>Event Hub</strong>, <strong>Cosmos DB</strong>, and <strong>Functions</strong>.</li><li>5+ years of experience in <strong>DevOps</strong> practices, including <strong>CI/CD pipelines</strong>, <strong>YAML</strong>, and <strong>blue/green deployment</strong>.</li><li>Practical experience with <strong>SQL</strong> and <strong>NoSQL</strong> databases in transactional and distributed system contexts.</li><li>You bring proficiency in version control using <strong>Git</strong> within collaborative development environments.</li><li>You have experience with <strong>Agile</strong> methodologies such as <strong>Scrum</strong> or <strong>SAFe</strong> and tools like <strong>Jira</strong> and <strong>Confluence</strong>.</li><li>You possess a proactive attitude toward continuous learning and the adoption of emerging frameworks.</li><li>You are fluent in <strong>English</strong> with a minimum level of B2.</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to Haves</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with <strong>React.js</strong> for frontend development projects.</li><li>Specific domain experience in the railway or mobility sector.</li><li>Proficiency in <strong>Dutch</strong> and/or <strong>French</strong> at a B2 level.</li></ul>
