Senior Systems Analysts (Operations)

<strong>ASSYST</strong> is seeking a<strong> Senior Systems Analysts (Operations)</strong> to provide services related to the efficient operation of Health Benefit Exchange (HBX) and other ancillary systems of our client in<strong> Baltimore, Maryland.</strong><br />

<strong>Job Location: Baltimore, Maryland (Hybrid)</strong><br />
<br />
<strong>Responsibilities:</strong>
<ul>
<li>Install, configure and manage<strong> Informatica Power Center. </strong></li>
<li>Assess the impact of upgrading Informatica and all its components (Informatica PowerCenter mappings, workflows, jobs, and other ETL processes).</li>
<li>Identify and troubleshoot system outages, installation issues, and<strong> application code errors running Java applications in AWS.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Generate and install security certificates and PGP keys.</strong></li>
<li>Work with the <strong>Control-M</strong> tool or equivalent to create and schedule batches and to create calendars and daily schedules for critical batches.</li>
<li>Restore Informatica Power Center services and manage users and governance controls.</li>
<li>Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot<strong> Redhat Jboss, Fuse, Apache, </strong>and <strong>Tomcat HTTP servers.</strong></li>
<li>Perform system troubleshooting by reading and deciphering app logs, and system logs from Splunk.</li>
<li>Configure, deploy, verify, and troubleshoot SSL certificates.</li>
<li>Read/understand/improve scripts related to the application, batches, and/or web services.</li>
<li>Identify installation issues and application code errors running in <strong>JBoss/ Tomcat/Informatica/ Control M.</strong></li>
<li>Provide options, recommendations, and additional actions related to resolving issues, mitigating risks, and resolving escalated items.</li>
<li>Work with configuration management tool <strong>Jenkins</strong> to automate tasks such as code check-in software build.</li>
<li>Manage, monitor, and configure the Splunk application monitoring tool.</li>
<li>Support releases and adherence to change control standards.</li>
<li>Perform scheduled maintenance activities such as patching, performance tuning, and backups.</li>
<li>Execute daily batch scripts, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.</li>
<li>Perform capacity planning and scalability planning.</li>
<li>Work with <strong>JIRA Service Desk</strong> to manage Incidents and Change Processes.</li>
<li>Availability to work in rotation shifts mode.</li>
<li>Adhere to all security, change control, and Project Management Office (PMO) policies, processes, and methodologies.</li>

<strong>Requirements:</strong>

<ul>
<li>A minimum of three (3) years performing day-to-day <strong>Informatica PowerCenter operations</strong>, functions, administration, or troubleshooting tasks.</li>
<li>A minimum of three (3) years of experience as a<strong> Batch Operator</strong> using<strong> Control-M </strong>or equivalent.</li>
<li>A minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a <strong>PostgreSQL DB</strong> or equivalent environment.</li>
<li>Experience working in the<strong> health insurance marketplace, healthcare, or health and human services domains.</strong></li>
<li>Demonstrable analytical experience and ability to work in a complex system environment.</li>
<li>Demonstrable experience with application and batch integration.</li>
<li>Familiarity with <strong>Database and SQL functions.</strong></li>
<li>Ability to troubleshoot system issues by collaborating with a team of system operations professionals.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and effectively communicate with different functions.</li>

<strong>Preferred Skills:</strong>

<ul>
<li>A minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting day-to-day operations functions of a complex <strong>enterprise system.</strong></li>
<li>A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a <strong>Batch Operator </strong>or equivalent, supporting day-to-day configurations and operations of various batch jobs in a complex enterprise system.</li>
