Staff Product Manager - Customer Experience

The Product Experience Team at Zoox works across the company to define and champion the “Human Experience." The team focuses on a wide range of products that collectively power a world-class customer experience, including areas like our mobile ride-hailing apps, pickup & drop off experience, and in-vehicle experience. In this role, you will lead both strategic and tactical layers - crafting a compelling product strategy, and multi-year roadmap while simultaneously owning and ensuring successful delivery with your product development team.

In this role, you will...

• You have a unique opportunity to craft and own a multi-year product strategy and roadmap that inspires your team and pushes boundaries
• You will own the successful execution of the product across its lifecycle 
• In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of the customer, market, and business objectives to find new opportunities and align your product domain to company goals
• Be the Product Owner for cross-functional Agile product development teams - own the product backlog, clearly set priorities, write user stories, drive incremental improvements
• Ruthlessly prioritize features and ensure priorities are clearly communicated at all times

Qualifications

• 8+ years of direct product management experience bringing 0->1 digital products to market
• You possess a passion for impactful user experiences and have relentless attention to detail
• You can balance long-term strategic objectives against near-term tactical wins
• You have a track record of taking action and delivering
• You’re extremely comfortable with data and can navigate complex tradeoffs in a structured way

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience optimizing products in market 
• Experience working in the AV, mobility, or ride-hailing industries

CompensationThere are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $179,000 to $259,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position. Zoox also offers a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (e.g. sick leave, vacation, bereavement), unpaid time off, Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights, Amazon RSUs, health insurance, long-term care insurance, long-term and short-term disability insurance, and life insurance.
