Join us in our mission to provide comprehensive support to those navigating the challenges of cancer treatment.</p> <p><strong>Position Overview</strong><br>The Rad Tech is responsible for operating imaging equipment to perform radiologic procedures for a specified patient population. This role ensures quality imaging services while adhering to regulatory standards and organizational policies. The Rad Tech&nbsp; models behavior consistent with West Cancer Center’s Mission, Vision, and Values.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform quality radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and organizational policies and procedures.</li> <li>Manage resources such as supplies and equipment effectively.</li> <li>Plan and complete job responsibilities in an efficient and productive manner.</li> <li>Demonstrate professional behavior and provide excellent customer service in all interactions.</li> <li>Observe and instruct student technologists and occasionally demonstrate job responsibilities to other associates as needed.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p><strong>Education &amp; Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Completion of a formal education program in radiography accredited by a mechanism acceptable to ARRT.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Credential/Licensure</strong></p> <ul> <li>Certification and registration as R.T. (R) ARRT.</li> <li>State license in accordance with regulations in the state where work is performed.</li> <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (required for all new hires and transfers).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Substitution</strong></p> <ul> <li>New graduates of an accredited radiography program without ARRT primary certification must obtain certification and registry as R.T. (R) (ARRT) within one year of graduation from an approved program.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills &amp; Abilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Basic knowledge of radiographic equipment and imaging procedures.</li> <li>Ability to effectively relate and communicate with internal and external customers.</li&
