JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
As an analyst on the Compliance & Regulatory Support team, this role provides cross-functional regulatory support for the System Planning & Operations (SPO) organization. Primary duties include triaging regulatory data requests, assigning/collecting responses, leading internal engagement in certain retail regulatory audits, providing project management for integrated resource planning, coordinating internal regulatory support training, and performing periodic federal and state regulatory filings.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Regulatory support: Ensure data requests from regulators, intervenors, and auditors are returned on time and accurately, consistent with the company’s response strategy and gatekeeper methodology; maintain internal records to track and report progress for each docket throughout the year
- Regulatory support: Aid SPO staff in various regulatory engagements, strategy coordination, and drafting of testimony
- Internal Regulatory Support Training and Education: Facilitate internal organizational regulatory support training and best practices. Coordinate SPO education initiatives with other functions.
- Customer service: Work closely and build strong relationships with teams internally and across the enterprise, including attorneys and state operating company staff, in order to provide top-tier support with regard to data requests, testimony, filings, audits, and other assigned projects
- Cross-functional collaboration: Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to cross-train and support other functions, such as fuel and power settlements
- Project management: Act as the primary project manager for the integrated resource planning efforts at each regulated operating company
- Communication: Routinely communicate with peers, management, and senior executives internally and across the enterprise, including delivering presentations to executives
- Process improvement: Develop, enhance, and streamline processes/procedures for increased efficiency and effectiveness, including updating process documentation and reporting metrics
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum education required of the position
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related field required or equivalent work experience
Minimum experience required of the position
- Anaylst Sr Lead: At least 8 years of professional experience.
- Analyst Sr: At least 6 years of professional experience.
- Analyst III: 4-6 years of professional experience
- Analyst II: 2-4 years of professional experience
- Analyst I: 0-2 years of professional experience
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Prompt and communicative
- Able to analyze large data sets
- Able to synthesize and communicate complex details for varying audiences
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and SharePoint is preferred
