Software Tool Manager

The National Security Sector at Leidos is seeking a Software Tool Manager to support operations at the customer site in Langley, Virginia. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the ACCA5JI JINTACCS mission, leveraging your expertise in the DoD iSMART process and toolsets to research and document Tactical Data Link (TDL) implementations across various platforms and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Toolset Deployment & Maintenance
Manage the deployment and version tracking of the iSMART toolset across DoD entities.
Ensure timely release of updates in accordance with government-defined schedules.
Process Support & Stakeholder Engagement
Participate in iSMART-related meetings to provide recommendations, training, and methodology support.
Guide stakeholders in documenting detailed system implementation data using standardized processes and tools.
Data Analysis & Documentation
Collect and evaluate technical data to produce background papers, staff studies, and presentations.
Communicate implementation strategies, progress updates, and persuasive insights to various audiences.
Interface Change Management
Acquire and input the latest approved interface change proposals into the designated iSMART software tool.
Research & Reporting
Conduct research and compile materials such as Talking Papers, staff studies, and presentations as directed by the Government.
Basic Qualifications
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree and 2 or more years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
USAF Program Management: Minimum of 4 years managing USAF programs
IT Project & Data Management: At least 2 years of experience organizing IT projects and managing related data
Certifications: Current Security+ certification
iSMART Expertise: Minimum of 2 years working with iSMART processes and tools
TDL & Military Standards: At least 1 year of experience with TDL networks and familiarity with military standards including: MIL-STD 3011, 6011, 6016, 6017, 6020, 6040, 188-220, and 2045-47001
Security Clearance: Preferred: Favorably completed Tier 1 (T1) investigation; Desired: Tier 3 / Secret clearance

Pay Range:
Pay Range $67,600.00 - $122,200.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
