As a Process Mining Data Engineer, you will join a dynamic team of Data Engineers responsible for driving Syensqo's digital transformation. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including Product Managers, IT experts, and our Business partners, to design and build advanced data pipelines. Your work will enable the collection, processing, transformation, and curation of large data volumes, integrating essential data quality controls and providing valuable analyses and operational tools within Celonis.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Data Collection: Establish and manage data connections between source systems and the Celonis process mining tool, ensuring consistent data collection and preparation of source systems.
• Data Preparation: Prepare data for the process mining data model, considering the required level of customization for specific use cases and business needs.
• Data Modeling: Create event logs and develop the process mining data model.
• Data Visualization: Profile data to validate its suitability for purpose and build analyses and dashboards in Celonis Studio.
• Process Enhancement: Develop "skills/business rules" to provide an operational workplace for users, leverage machine learning features to improve operational processes, and implement process automation features (Action Flows).
• Project Management: Independently manage projects from start to finish.

RUN/ Maintenance Mode Responsibilities:  Maintain data models and applications, monitor data load jobs and correct any failures, evolve data models and analyses based on business requests, provide user support, and analyze software releases to evaluate impacts.

 

Education and experience

• Successfully completed a Masters degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology oriented Business Administration/ Economics, Mathematics or a comparable degree program
• At least 2 years of work experience in Process Mining with a successful track record.
• Experience of working on SQL databases.
