We are passionate about the role accounting can play in shaping our business, take full ownership over the work we do, and are driven to get things done.</p> <p>This is a hybrid position based in Prague, Czech Republic. </p> <h3><strong>Senior Accountant with global responsibilities for</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Payroll Accounting</li> <li>Accrual Accounting specific to payroll (vacation, bonus, 13th month etc.)</li> <li>Commission Accounting</li> <li>Benefits Accounting</li> <li>Balance Sheet reconciliations for specific accounts</li> <li>Leading the monthly and year-end closing process related to your global responsibilities</li> <li>Assisting with the external group audit in relation to your global responsibilities</li> <li>Assisting with ad hoc requests and reporting on other G/L domains</li> </ul> <h3><strong>You have</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Degree in accounting or finance (+4 years of experience)</li> <li>Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written</li> <li>Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (mainly Excel)</li> </ul> <h3><strong>You are</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Highly driven and detail-oriented, with a high bar of excellence in your work</li> <li>Able to thrive in a fast-paced global environment with a "roll-up the sleeves" approach in order to accomplish all variety of tasks</li> <li>Team player, who can also work independently</li> <li>Motivated by new challenges, strive to be consistently learning</li> <li>Eligible to work in Czechia</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Measures of success</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Within your first month, you will gain a fundamental understanding of our global payroll setup and accounting ERP.</li> <li>Within your third month, you will be responsible for processing all monthly related payroll entries and reconciliations</li> <li>Within your sixth month, you will take full ownership of the recurring monthly tasks and start assisting on the annual processes.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Benefits at Collibra</strong></h3> <p>Collibra recognizes and values that everyone has different needs, interests, and life goals.
