The C/FIO organization ensures sustainable know-how in the countries by strengthening the governance across the world by active participation in the global finance community and cultivate continuous learning. We protect the assets of the organization ensuring compliance with local financial regulations and risk management and support our C/FI organization in the worldwide presence by processing clearly defined tasks in dedicated countries, for finance, insurance, and treasury.

Job Description

Main attributions and responsibilities:

• Support the preparation of annual and quarterly consolidated financial statements of the Bosch group in accordance with IFRS as well as annual financial statements of the Robert Bosch GmbH;
• Prepare analyses and presentations of the financial statements for various stakeholder groups, especially the Bosch Board of Management;
• Serve as the contact for local entities’ enquiries, including questions on group accounting and reporting packages;
• Deep dive into complex IFRS topics, such as IFRS 3, 9, 11, 16, IAS 2, 16, 19, 37; act as a Subject Matter Expert on complex finance and accounting topics;
• Assess business transactions, acquisitions, and investment projects, ensuring alignment with accounting principles;
• Coordinate and manage accounting projects from start to finish, driving efficiency and accuracy.
• Refine and develop accounting principles, ensuring they adapt to changing regulations and business needs, considering the various stakeholder groups;
• Serve as the contact for auditors' inquiries, fostering a transparent and collaborative relationship;
• Sustain monitoring activity within the department to ensure quality, compliance, and on-time reporting;
• Drive the implementation of new processes and technology, including new reporting and consolidation systems;
• Reads, understands and applies the procedures from area of responsibility and other interdepartmental procedures, applicable within the company;
• Fulfils any other tasks related to area of responsibility, as requested by direct superior.

Qualifications

• University Diploma, bachelor’s, or master’s degree (Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree), demonstrating a strong foundation in analytical thinking and problem-solving;
• Language: very good English knowledge, spoken and written; German language skills are a benefit;
• IT-Knowledge: Experience in SAP-FI, very good knowledge of Excel, and all MS Office applications; Power BI and Hyperion Financial Management are a benefit;
• Several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) with complex accounting topics, deep knowledge of IFRS to navigate the complexities of IFRS with confidence, ensuring seamless application in daily work;
