We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering the highest quality of service & support. The Jr. Field Support Technician is responsible for the administration, management and optimization of all user related devices for The Christ Hospital Health Network. Support will be provided via phone/email/IM, in person, and remote. For this position there is a strong need for someone with excellent communication & problem-solving skills.
Installs, modifies, and repairs operating systems and software including but not limited to: Microsoft Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, Adobe, and third-party non-clinical applications.
Documents and maintains troubleshooting articles for the knowledgebase of the Client Technology Services team.
Documents, maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computers, peripherals, located at the site within the timeframe of the current service level agreement.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE: Previous desktop support experience preferred or recent graduate with IT related degree
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
• Demonstrate good communication (verbal and written), organization and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively individually and with a team.
• Ability to work independently, assume responsibility and exercise good judgment.
• Ability to work effectively in a service-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated ability to support Windows 10/11 in an enterprise environment.
• Demonstrated excellent customer service skills necessary to work with novice to advanced computer users. Including the ability to walk clients/users through problem solving process using pertinent questions & techniques.
• Diagnosing and solving hardware/software issues
• Good working knowledge of wireless communications, wiring/cabling, or similar preferred
• Configure & install new workstations, peripheral equipment and software
• Support audio & video equipment in conference rooms
• Key technical skills:
- Window 10/11
- Microsoft Office 365
- Active Directory
- Antivirus/Malware software experience
- Imaging using SCCM or similar
- Ticket tracking/resolution experience
- LAN/WAN troubleshooting
