We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Accountant to join our global finance team. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in the day-to-day financial operations of our organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting and management. This role will manage Oura's equity, property, plant & equipment, intangibles, direct/ indirect tax reconciliations,  account receivable and report to the Accounting Manager.

This will be an individual contributor position.

What you'll do:

• Assist with the monthly financial close process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with
  U.S. GAAP.
• Oversee the Order-to-Cash process, encompassing order management, commissions
  calculations, billing, payment processing, receivables outreach, credit limit oversight,
  reconciliation, reporting and revenue recognition.
• Manage Treasury and Bank Account oversight, ensuring effective cash flow
  management and bank reconciliations.
• Consolidate and report financial information, providing insights and analysis to support
  strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including FP&A,Tax, IT, Legal, Sales, and
  Supply Chain, to support business processes.
• Participate in the development and implementation of financial reporting initiatives to
  accelerate the close process and enhance overall financial reporting.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators related to financial operations.
  Prepare and own monthly balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with external audit requirements.
• Engage in ad-hoc projects and analysis as required, demonstrating flexibility and a
  willingness to take on new challenges.

The role will be remote and based in the US. Eastern time zone strongly preferred; open to candidates in other continental US time zones.

Requirements

We would love to have you on our team if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA certification is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in NetSuite accounting software and Floqast is a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and a high degree of integrity.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and tax laws.
• Experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff is a plus.
