What you’ll do:

 

Position title: SAP CSA iXp Intern – Information Security Compliance Analyst 

Expected start date: August 2025 

Duration: 6 Months

Schedule: 40 HR/Week 

 

• Support audit fieldwork with external customer auditors using appropriate auditing methods while leveraging existing documentation (ie Standard, procedures, Walkthrough decks, etc.) evidence and/or obtain new documentation to meet customer demands.

• Contribute to customer security audit in collaboration with SAP’s various lines of business, helping to coordinate tasks and track progress.

• Support the team in communicating project status and results with project team and stakeholders.

• Assist team to document and mitigate any identified findings and/or potential risks and control weaknesses.

• Assist with continuous evaluation and upgrading of operational policies, procedures and best customer auditing practices.

• Assist in maintaining positive relationships with internal stakeholders across departments.Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to inform audit planning and execution.

• Assist the team to work with SAP lines of business to track implementation and remediation of recommended solutions for mitigation and improvement.

• Basic understanding on information security and compliance

• Awareness or familiarity of industry standards and regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, DORA etc…

• Strong attention to detail, with a willingness to learn how to conduct thorough and accurate audits

• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and stay organized

• Clear and effective communication is crucial

 

Meet your team:

 

The SAP Customer Security Audits team plays a crucial role in supporting customer risk assessments by coordinating, facilitating, and making recommendations on Security Audits and assessments.

 

We help customers meet their legal obligations - arising from privacy laws like GDPR, sectorial regulations, or specific industry standards - through efficient audit processes that align with SAP's commitments. Our work also involves responding to post-sale security questionnaires and ensuring that all actions taken adhere to SAP's policies to minimize non-compliance risks.
