The Opportunity:
As a Financial Analyst, you will be integral to our financial planning and reporting processes. Your role will involve analyzing, interpreting, and reporting on financial and operational data to support and guide decision-making. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that financial data is accurate, timely, and actionable.
This role offers the chance to engage in complex problem-solving, develop financial models, and contribute to the enhancement of business processes. Your ability to deliver high-quality financial insights and reports will play a crucial role in driving organizational success.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in period-closing activities and support accurate and timely analysis of financial performance and key metrics (Revenue recognitions, COGS review, R&D and Fixed Asset transfers, etc.)
- Supporting cash management including timely invoicing and revenue recognition
- Provide support to the balance sheet, indirect expenses, and investment activities including R&D projects, capital projects and capital expenditures
- Help drive the schedule for Annual Operating Plan and assist in preparing financial models to support business planning exercises
- Assist in developing EAC’s, budget baselines and forecasts including variance analyses
- Effectively communicate orally and in writing
- Perform ad hoc analysis as required
Qualifications:
Required:
- 2-5 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree (Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently and effectively handle and complete multiple tasks
- Advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, sumifs, graphing)
- Understanding of financial statements
- Ability to learn and utilize various IT systems
Desired:
- Experience in a finance function where responsibilities included budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modeling, and cash management.
- Understanding of financial statements
- Working knowledge of accounting
- Knowledge of Costpoint and Hyperion
- Experience working with INFOR
