Job Description:

The Communications & Marketing Manager oversees the collection, liaising and execution of internal and external communications content in close collaboration with Cintra’s leadership and Ferrovial’s Communications teams. This includes sourcing and managing content for newsletters, email communications, internal communication channels, corporate presentations, press materials and marketing collateral within a well-defined overall marketing and communications strategy. Strong skills in all facets of communications whether performed by this role or strategically outsourced and managed by this role, including but not limited to creative graphic design, video editing, photography/videography, copywriting and digital communications. This role plays an important part in supporting Cintra's internal and external events, including trade shows, annual meetings, charitable events, employee engagement programs and celebrations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaboratively craft our communication strategy by understanding business needs and opportunities. Create processes and procedures that work collaboratively with internal and external resources to see our projects successfully carried though.

  • Coordinate, support, and drive communications matters with the respective heads of departments, internal group communication teams and concession projects.

  • Continuously collaborate with the US Communications Team and the Global Communications Team to best utilize company resources and align Cintra’s communications with Ferrovial’s communications.

  • Write and prepare news articles, reports, newsletters, internal corporate announcements, press releases and materials for the company intranet and other communication channels.

  • Support and dynamize existing and new work communities using internal communication tools (intranet, Viva Engage, etc.).

  • Participate in and support company events, both digital and face-to-face, and coordinate the necessary activities for their execution, including annual meetings, trade shows and employee and client events. 

  • Design internal communication campaigns according to company projects that need to be implemented internally and coordinate the production of all online and offline support materials to ensure proper implementation in form and content.

  • Ensure successful communication of initiatives and projects to employees.

  • Provide annual reporting data as requested.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to fulfill those duties.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or relevant field preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in the functions described above, mainly in multinational companies with strong expertise in US communications.

  • Experience in social networks, audiovisual and digital communication. Customer focus, communication and influencing skills and flexibility. Graphic design, photography and videography skills are a plus.
