Job Description

We are seeking highly skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our General Surgery and Vascular Surgery teams, where they will provide specialized care to patients undergoing surgical procedures and treatments. RNs will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver timely and individualized interventions, ensuring optimal outcomes for patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, educating patients about their surgical options and recovery processes, monitoring post-operative health, managing complex surgical needs, and implementing protocols to maintain a safe and supportive environment for all individuals in our care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to individuals undergoing surgical procedures, conducting thorough assessments and continuous monitoring of their physical health and recovery status.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient and support safe surgical outcomes.
- Adhere to strict safety and infection control protocols to ensure a secure and supportive environment for both patients and staff.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress, including any significant changes, accurately and in real-time to facilitate timely interventions.
- Prepare, manage, and operate the necessary medical equipment and supplies relevant to surgical procedures and patient care.
- Actively support the healthcare team during critical situations by anticipating needs and providing prompt assistance to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about surgical processes, recovery expectations, post-operative care, and available resources for ongoing support.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with institutional policies and best practices in surgical care.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records in accordance with healthcare standards and regulations to promote high-quality patient care.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements/Certifications:
- Must have a valid unrestricted RN license from any US State or territory.
- Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Conscious Sedation Certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 Years of experience in specialty in the last 3-5 years.
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in nursing or prior experience in a military or government healthcare facility is strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.
- May be exposed to contagious diseases, radiation, and high-stress environments.
Other Special Qualifications:
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required. <
