We’re looking for a Linux systems administrator with a solid background in installing, configuring, and maintaining operating hardware and software to help us enable warfighter clients to integrate air, land, maritime, and space domain awareness by connecting operational and tactical forces around the world via edge networks.

As a Linux systems administrator on our project, you’ll support the operations to maintain engineering solutions for distributed sensor fusion, tactical datalink (TDL), and radio coverage, while supplying an open architecture for data processing and sharing. You’ll help clients overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. Your experience and communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning. This is an opportunity to gain experience in fully converged C2 systems, cloud-based C2 applications, and artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) software hosting. We focus on growing as a team, so we’ll share techniques, work through challenges, and develop new methodologies together. Join our team and solve daily challenges as we improve distribution of a Common Operating Picture (COP) while establishing remote voice and data communications to positively control military operations from any location.

You Have:

• Experience installing, configuring, deploying, and managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server, including user and group management, service hosting such as http, ftp, update servers, and network file share, and developing and implementing automatic execution of recurring tasks

• Experience monitoring and managing hardware performance, storage allocation, and expansion

• Experience developing and executing system plans for moves, adds, changes, upgrades, and migrations

• Experience implementing and monitoring regular security modifications, including recurring patches or responses to emerging issuances

• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

• Ability to obtain a security clearance

• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with operational air defense or battle management

• Experience with air surveillance or target tracking radars, data links, and correlation systems

• Experience with IAMD and BMD plans, programs, and Joint service integration

• Experience with air and missile defense system operations, Joint or combined military staff processes, Joint military planning, modeling and simulations, radar systems, data link architectures, and Joint and combined command and control

• Secret clearance
