About the role
As the HR Administrative Assistant, you will support the HR department and HR leadership team. This role will anticipate the needs of the HR department and provide outstanding customer service to our Augusta National Golf Club (ANGC) employees. We're seeking a detail-oriented individual with exceptional communication skills and a proactive approach to administrative tasks. A candidate for this position should have the ability to work independently and proactively on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
Essential Functions of the Job
- Coordinate all aspects of on-site interviews, from scheduling, lunch ordering, and creating interview itineraries to delivering the interview gift.
- Support the coordination and distribution of meal vouchers and local sporting event tickets.
- Anticipate business needs and priorities, using strong interpersonal skills, planning, and problem-solving.
- Reconciles monthly credit card statement by verifying all charges, procuring documentation of charges, and coding of expenses properly.
- Manage ordering office supplies, tracking office keys, coordinating department work orders, and preparing reports as needed.
- Manage all HR administrative tasks associated with the Tournament, such as food ordering, tournament radio, and golf cart assignments.
- Building strong rapport with peers across the organization to increase effectiveness and solve problems smoothly.
- Handling confidential personal and business information effectively.
- Assist with coordination of events and meetings.

Physical Demands
- Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
- Occasionally required to walk and work with hands and arms, lift up to 25 pounds and/or drive a golf cart.
- Constantly required to sit, sometimes for several hours at a time, and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Qualifications:
Skills/Knowledge/Attributes:
- People skills and ability in building relationships

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, OneNote, Outlook
- Proficient with use of voicemail, email, and Internet access
Relative Experience/Education:
- Minimum of one to three years of administrative experience in an office environment, strongly preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalency required, continuing education in business and/or accounting is preferred.
Required License(s):
- Possess a valid driver’s license and/or successfully completes the Club’s internal motor vehicle training program
Projected Work Schedule:
Normal work hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
