Business Development - Sponsorship Account Executive

The Space Force Association is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Account Executive to drives sales, outreach, and partnership engagement for our programs, memberships, sponsorships, and events. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with proven experience in B2B sales, sponsorship development, or nonprofit fundraising. You will serve as the primary point of contact for accounts, manage pipelines, drive revenue growth, and amplify our mission through strategic partnerships. This role will report to two management team members.
WORKSITE: Remote (United States only)
WORK SCHEDULE: Standard business hours, Monday-Friday (Minimal travel for key events)
COMPENSATION: Base salary plus commission, commensurate with quota achievement
WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Lead B2B sales and sponsorship outreach for programs, events, conferences, and member campaigns

Identify and engage corporate partners, sponsors, and donors; build and maintain strong client relationships

Deliver compelling presentations and sponsorship proposals to decision-makers across sectors

Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, events planning, etc.) to ensure smooth execution

Monitor account performance, manage CRM entries, and deliver timely sales forecasts and reporting to stakeholders

Represent the organization professionally at all times, all events

Consistently meet or exceed assigned quota goals and performance targets
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

5+ years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales, sponsorships, and/or partnership development

Demonstrated success managing and exceeding a multi-million-dollar quota goal and delivering KPIs

Strong communication skills-verbal, written, and presentation-with ability to influence and negotiate

Adept at managing relationships, partner expectations, and the sales cycle to close sales

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for pipeline forecasting) and CRM systems

Familiarity with nonprofit operations and sponsorship package development

A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities

Experience cold-calling and prospecting, engaging decision-makers at net-new potential partners
