The Challenge

We are looking for a self-motivated Revenue Accountant with operational knowledge of ASC 606, specifically in the SaaS/Software industry. This role reports directly to the Revenue Director and will focus on the day-to-day operations of revenue accounting and assist with executing the team’s monthly close process. This role requires someone who has a keen attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.  

Your Mission

• Review and reconcile contract information between Salesforce CPQ and the Company’s ERP system, ensuring all relevant revenue data is populated accurately
• Partner with Order Management and Billing teams to ensure any contract amendments are properly recorded in the Company’s ERP system 
• Own and manage monthly revenue recognition and reporting of Company’s eCommerce transactions 
• Assist with review and documentation of significant revenue transactions in accordance with ASC 606 requirements 
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of revenue reporting across all systems

Your Experience Includes 

• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Accounting
• 2 years of combined experience in public accounting or a corporate revenue accounting role
• Working knowledge of ASC 606 and its application to multiple performance obligation arrangements, specifically in the SaaS/Software industry Experience with MS Excel and creating complex spreadsheets and analytical tools 

 

For California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington-based candidates: the annual base pay range for this role is listed below. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including location, job-related skills, work experience, and relevant education and/or training. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, and/or commissions, as well as benefits.

Salary Range$67,500—$101,250 USD
