Summary  

The Training Specialist consults with business leaders to address the learning needs of the organization. In collaboration with E-Learning Developers, the Training Specialist will develop content and facilitate interactive training. Live classroom training is delivered on a bi-weekly schedule to assigned geographic regions requiring 50% travel. The successful Training Specialist will build and maintain relationships, identify development opportunities and provide exceptional service. This is an Exempt position.

Essential Job Functions  

• Content development focusing on blended learning and interactive delivery
• Facilitate training subjects including but not limited to sales, service, leadership, and systems
• Build and maintain client relationships through effective communication
• Needs assessment in consultation with business leaders
• Collaborate with E-Learning Developers and Documentation Specialists on learning initiatives
• Market and support Learning Management System
• Schedule and ensure quality of vendor product training
• Develop a proficient to advanced understanding of the proprietary IMS system
• Responsible for setting up training environment including computers
• Maintain knowledge and expertise in learning and development competencies
• Develop and maintain positive relations with customers, coworkers and supervisors
• Demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills

Education/Experience  

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
• Minimum three years training and facilitation experience, required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Bilingual, strongly preferred
