About You 

You are a passionate and experienced climate leader with a deep understanding of what it takes to grow and lead an impactful climate NGO. You love networking and meeting new people and discussing new ideas. You balance your strategic insights with the ability to operationalize and execute. You are committed to supporting  nontraditional leaders to grow their leadership and influence. You are entrepreneurial, ideally with experience working in a start up environment. Importantly, you are a team player with integrity, a strong emotional quotient and an ability to nurture high trust relationships.

About the Role

The Sr. Portfolio Manager, Venture will help expand and deepen our venture philanthropy portfolio of grantees. The Portfolio Manager works to support the Director, Venture Portfolio to identify new organizations to bring into the portfolio, and supports organizations in the portfolio to scale and achieve outsize impact.

This is a FLSA Full Time Exempt position, reporting to our Director, Venture Portfolio.

Responsibilities include:

Portfolio 

• Manage a portfolio of grantees by providing strategic guidance and support as they move through their grant lifecycle.
• Conduct visits and regular check-ins with grantees to assess progress, troubleshoot challenges and provide support .
• Ensure grantees receive necessary support and resources by coordinating internal resources and connecting with external opportunities.
