Senior Enterprise Risk Manager

Here you will be offered a challenging job where you utilize your risk management skills all while developing your knowledge and expertise in a wide range of business categories spanning several geographical regions.</span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span><b>About the role </b></span></span></p> <p><span><span>In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and consolidating risks and providing visibility to risk exposure status for management teams and different committees including Fortum Leadership Team and Audit and risk Committee. You will also be responsible for providing risk disclosures in both internal and external reporting. Part of the role is to support in creating a sophisticated scenario analysis framework to support the ERM process related to the Key Risks of Fortum and its’ strategy. In this role you participate in developing Fortum’s business continuity management processes, and supporting business and enabling functions in creating and testing continuity plans. Enterprise Risk Manager is continuously actively supporting in developing methods and processes to improve risk awareness and risk-informed decision- making. Effective collaboration with managers and specialists at all levels of the organization is a key to succeeding in this role. </span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span><b>About you </b></span></span></p> <p><span><span>We’re looking for someone who is proactive, capable of working both independently and in leading role, and eager to actively seek out learning and development opportunities. You thrive on solving problems and feel comfortable to work with business development on a strategic as well as an operational, hands-on level.</span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span>Experience &amp; Education </span></span></p> <ul> <li> <p><span><span>At least 5 years’ of relevant experience of risk management from the energy, utility, industrial or insurance sector</span></span></p> </li> <li> <p><span><span>We think you to have an university degree in for example Finance, Engineering, Economics or Legal</span></span></p> </li> <li> <p><span><span>Experience from insurance management and business continuity management of large corporation are considered as merit.</span></span></p> </li> </ul> <p><span><span>Knowledge &amp; skill</span></span></p> <ul> <li> <p><span><span>Strong organizational, project management, problem-solving skills and co-operational mind-set</span></span></p> </li> <li> <p><span><span>Good written and oral presentation skills in English. Finnish and/or Swedish language skills are beneficial and considered as a merit</span></span></p> </li> </ul> <p><span><span>In the role you will be required to analyse and interpret large amount of complex information and be able to draw conclusions and present recommendations to management for decision-making. A certain amount of travelling will be required, mainly to countries where Fortum has operations. We expect you to bring a hands-on attitude which in action means taking responsibility, working transparently, bringing your own ideas to the shared table and getting things done.
