Summary
The Director leads IT teams in executing projects and managing operations to support the organization's business strategy and technology roadmap. This role oversees the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions and applications that enable health plan operations while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Responsibilities include managing application development, system configuration, integration services, and user support to maintain data accuracy, security, and operational efficiency. Additionally, the position supports testing, deployment, maintenance, and enhancements to improve member experience and facilitate effective communication.
Job Duties
Manage team capacity by effectively assigning tasks and aligning work efforts, while seeking additional resources when necessary and maintaining control over project budgets.
Plan projects and coordinate work efforts in collaboration with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Oversee the quality of project delivery by monitoring progress, ensuring successful go-live execution, and addressing operational issues until full resolution is achieved.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners, providing strategic input into roadmaps, vendor selection processes, and overall contract management.
Ensure continuous communication and collaboration across all involved parties to support timely decision-making and successful project outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
10 years related work experience
Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
