As a staff instructor on our team, you’ll provide in-person, remote, virtual, and hybrid instruction for our new hires, our client-facing and internal employees, and our leaders on a range of topics from technical skills to leadership competencies. You’ll showcase your technical or functional expertise and industry knowledge by applying best practices in adult learning, leveraging cutting-edge technology, and fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment.

You Have:

• Experience delivering courses in business management, including project cost accounting, finance, and contracts, Agile project and program management, people and team leadership from introduction to advanced, power skills such as communications, data and digital fluency, creativity and innovation, productivity, and initiative, business development, including proposal management, capture management, client relationships, and tactical selling, and new hire orientation

• Experience in classroom management, and delivering learning content to a variety of audiences

• Ability to deliver two or more courses virtually or in-person on a weekly basis

• Ability to create an engaging and interactive virtual or in-person environment conducive to effective learning and assimilation, and encourage participation and interaction through interactive activities such as polls and Q&A sessions

• Ability to use multimedia elements such as videos or slides, to reinforce key concepts and keep participants visually engaged

• Ability to adapt your delivery style to accommodate different learning preferences within the audience

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances, troubleshoot issues, and engage adult participants throughout a session

• Ability to use platforms such as Microsoft Teams, to effectively enhance engagement and interaction, including screen sharing, chat, and whiteboard

• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:   

• Experience leading teams, projects, or proposals in a corporate labor-based or technology-based environment

• Experience leading or mentoring other instructors in in-person or virtual settings

• Possession of excellent verbal communications and content delivery skills, to deliver content in a clear, concise, and engaging manner

• Possession of excellent listening skills, to understand participants' questions, concerns, and feedback

• Possession of excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills

• Training or Instructional Design Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
