The Job:
As a Project Engineer, you’ll be part of our Industrial Team, as an on-site employee. You’ll get to:
- Assist commercial team in identifying applications and provide technical support on sales calls.
- Work with customers to develop products and finalize specifications for their applications.
- Coordinate all project related activities with internal teams after award of business including requirements management, design, project timing, customer communication, fabrication and component procurement.
- Generation and approval of designs in both Pro-Engineer and AutoCAD
- Mechanical and structural calculations, specification of materials, heat treatment, machining and fabrication methods.
- Specifications for machine controls (both pneumatic and electrical).Outsourcing of electrical panel work as required.
- Participate in technical presentations to educate and train customers.
- Develop test protocols and support product testing as required.
- Provide technical support after award of business including troubleshooting and change management.
- Responsible for all product realization deliverables per the Quality Management System (feasibility, design studies, APQP deliverables as required)
- Support engineering department on specific projects to support the overall technical growth of the company.
The Person:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years experience in project engineering with direct customer interaction.
- 5+ years experience with electrical systems and machine controls
- Strong Drafting and 3D CAD background (Pro-Engineer and AutoCAD)
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical design principles
