Starting Rate of pay: Depending upon education and experience.
Shift Premium: Nightshift - $1.50/hour extra
Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot electrical devices in operation. Dismantles and examines devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments, repairs or replaces defective parts.
- Extensive experience in troubleshooting, interpreting, modifying, and programming Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Must be able to draw out PLC/Electrical circuits.
- Research supplies, parts, and machines needed to complete work orders.
- Performs and documents work orders and preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Follows applicable ISO, Safety, Health, and Environmental rules and guidelines while performing any procedure.
- Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.
- Maintain PLC systems by ensuring backups of all programs are available and spare parts are available for the existing systems.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- 2-year Technical Degree or Certification in Electronics or Automation/Programming functions preferred.
- Must have proven knowledge of industrial electrical, including advanced electrical (three phase 460 volt and higher) design, sizing of components and installations, etc.
