About the role

The Senior Principal Consultant, Professional Services will manage ONESOURCE Tax Provision implementation projects, leading a team of implementers, managing multiple large scale projects, and coordinating with ancillary product and technology teams within Thomson Reuters. Additionally, the Senior Principal Consultant will work with Certified Implementation Partners and manage a backlog of services projects.

About The Role

 

In this opportunity as Senior Principal Consultant, you will:

  • Lead implementation professional services project teams and implement complex, global, multi-year projects using ONESOURCE Tax Provision and ancillary ONESOURCE products

  • Project Management and Coordination including client facing expectation management

  • Scope and estimate global, multi-year project SOW's based on customer’s business requirements and Thomson Reuters commercial objectives

  • Create project plans for global, multi-year projects

  • Viewed internally and externally as a deep functional expert with respect to ASC740 and ONESOURCE Tax Provision

  • Comfortable selling the value of Thomson Reuters professional services offerings to new and install base customers.  Must have strong commercial acumen and sales skills

  • Successfully deliver projects entirely with TR staff and contractors (“sole source”), as well as partner and jointly implement projects with Thomson Reuters certified partners

  • Mentor and train implementation specialists, consultants,  and principal consultants

About You
 

You’re a fit for the role of Senior Principal Consultant if your background includes:

  • 10+ years of project management, professional services, or consulting experience with a focus on ASC740 and tax provisions

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant industry certifications (e.g. CPA)

  • High-powered analytical skills and the ability to understand concepts and situations that pass by many others

  • Excellent communication skills, strong project management skills, and demonstrated success in adult learning and training principles/skills

  • Ability to achieve results working within a fast paced, global, cross-functional matrix organization

  • Ability to sell the value of Thomson Reuters professional services offerings to new and install base customers; must have strong commercial acumen and sales skills

The position will be remote or hybrid and requires up to 50% travel.
