Overview
SMS is seeking an Executive Assistant to the Director and will provide administrative, scheduling, and coordination services in support of the organization Director (SES) and Deputy Director. This position requires a mature, detail-oriented, proactive and highly-organized individual to maintain and deconflict schedules, coordinate deliverables, and support preparations for briefs, meetings, and other tasks as needed.

Responsibilities
Primary duty functions include:
- Provide executive support in a one-on-one working relationship with the Director and the Deputy Director
- Maintan executive schedules, meeting scheduling and logistics, written correspondence, meeting minutes, filing, review of documents for consistency, grammar, and context, work flow management, travel orders, reservations and vouchers, special projects, communication and coordination with staff and senior executive stakeholders
- Able to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities
- Must be able to work under pressure and handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of products, including Teams, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
- Demonstrated proficiency with all aspects of Microsoft Teams to include, at a minimum, management of chats, team/channel, access, calendar, calls, and file/document management
- Proactive with the ability to successfully manage all aspects of the role in a remote environment
- Demonstrates excellent written, presentation, oral communication, and organizational skills
- 2-5 years of executive level administrative assistant experience
- Experience working with Army executive organizations, is preferred (e.g. General Officer or Senior Executive Service experience required)
- Must possess and maintain a Secret security clearance
- Other duties as assigned
