Job Summary:
The Assistant Controller supports the Corporate Controller in managing accounting operations, by ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This position oversees the monthly close process, internal controls, and compliance with GAAP, while also collaborating across departments to drive process improvements. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, proficiency with enterprise grade ERPs, and supervisory experience. 

Expected Responsibilities:
•    Lead the monthly close process: prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
•    Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
•    Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
•    Supervise and mentor accounting staff, including performance management and training.
•    Coordinate with external auditors and support audit preparation.
•    Contribute to process improvements through automation and standardization. 
•    Collaborate with IT and finance teams to maintain and improve financial systems.

Qualifications: 
•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
•    7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting.
•    Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control frameworks.
•    Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Certinia).
•    Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
•    Experience in a multi-entity or international environment is a plus
