<p><strong>Deadline Date: </strong>Friday 18 August 2023</p> <p><strong>Requirement: </strong>Senior Technician Cyber Operations</p> <p></p> <p><strong>Location: </strong>Naples, IT</p> <p></p> <p><strong>Full time on-site</strong>: Yes</p> <p><strong>Time On-Site: </strong>100% <a rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener"> </a></p> <p><strong>Not to Exceed Rate:</strong> 66 EUR</p> <p><strong>Total Scope of the request</strong> (hours): 650</p> <p><strong>Required Start Date:</strong> 1 October 2023 </p> <p><strong>End Contract Date:</strong> 31 December 2023</p> <p><strong>Required Security Clearance:</strong> NATO SECRET</p> <p><strong>Duties and Role: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Provides level 1/2 support to CIS infrastructure in accordance with Agency processes and procedures;</li> <li>Manage and operate Trelix/EPO endpoint security systems (anti- virus, data loss protection, host firewalls, application control, etc); </li> <li>Manage cyber security gateway systems (firewalls, proxies, email gateway, VPNs, etc);</li> <li>Operate log consolidation systems and support log data analysis;</li> <li>Assist in managing public key infrastructure in accordance with NATO, ACO and Agency directives;</li> <li>Initiate and maintain liaison with other internal units, Service Lines and other Security Authorities;</li> <li>Assist with cyber security advice and provide Level 1, Level 2 support as required;</li> <li>Execute the security incident management process and advise on improvements;</li> <li>Supports vulnerability assessments and Security Testing and Verification (ST&amp;V) plans within policy guidelines, and as directed;</li> <li>Responsible for monitoring of assigned systems and portions of the networks, including support to local cyber security training and awareness programs;</li> <li>Co-ordinates assistance to L3 support, as required, in respect to event analysis and interpretation and direction by Cyber Security Service Line;</li> <li>Periodically provide on demand support outside of business hours that could require working on site;</li> <li>Work on own initiative with limited supervision, and possibly lead others as required;</li> <li>Take initiative to investigate and resolves issues in a systematic approach;</li> <li>Assist superiors and recommends solutions;</li> <li>Manage and monitor patch management on all systems; troubleshoot possible patch applications problems on workstations in close coordination with NCSC; and coordinate with CSU and Service Lines for problems on servers.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Skill, Knowledge &amp; Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance</li> <li>Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years post-related experience. Or a secondary educational qualification with 4 years post-related experience</li> <li>Minimum 2 years recent experience performing system administration using virtualization technologies in a Converged/Hyper Convergent infrastructure environment.</li> <li>Minimum 2 years' experience with Server system administration.</li> <li>Knowledge and experience of network configuration and troubleshooting;</li> </ul>
