Process Improvement, Sr. Project Lead, Restaurant Development

Overview

The Test & Rollouts Sr. Project Lead serves a critical function on the T&R Operations Team, overseeing various programs and initiatives that support our ability to scale with the growth of the business. As the programs led by Test & Rollouts continue to increase in volume, complexity, and scope, it is crucial that our internal systems and processes support the work of our team, fostering efficiencies and bolstering our operational effectiveness.

 

The Sr. Project Lead, Operations will focus on driving overall process improvement, identifying opportunities and implementing necessary enhancements. This individual will also support our external vendor and partner strategy, with a focus on performance management for both national and local partners. Collaborating closely with Restaurant Development and Corporate Communications, the Sr. Project Lead will also lead our communication strategy, ensuring overall alignment and partnership with key internal partners in support of Operator, Team Member, and vendor communications.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities and implement standards to create efficiencies in how we work, while allowing us to effectively scale with the needs of the business.

• Utilize data-driven insights and process mapping techniques to visualize current workflows and pinpoint opportunities for optimization to streamline workflows and increase overall efficiency.
• Develop and implement comprehensive process improvement strategies and initiatives, leveraging best practices from T&R Project Leads.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather feedback, analyze data, and implement solutions to address process gaps and bottlenecks that exist between.
• Continuously monitor and assess process performance, making adjustments as necessary to drive ongoing improvements.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting best practices and driving ongoing optimization efforts
• Partner with Principal Program Lead, Operations on necessary technology and/or systems enhancements to support new initiatives

Vendor and Partner Management:

Ensure T&R can excel at execution into the future with both national and local partners.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and partners, building and maintaining strong relationships to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define vendor and partner requirements and establish performance metrics and KPIs.
• Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships to enhance operational capabilities and drive business growth.
• Set long-term strategy for project management partners, partnering with T&R leadership on annual planning efforts.

Communication:

Develop project communication strategy standards and alignment for internal partners, vendors, and Operators, ensuring consistency, clarity, and an excellent experience.

• Develop, iterate, and implement the Test & Rollouts communication framework to ensure clear and consistent messaging with Operators, Team Members, and partners across various test and rollout programs.
• Develop and launch communication standards for external vendors and partners communicating on behalf of Chick-fil-A, maintaining a consistent voice for Operators and Team Members.
• Lead strategic storytelling efforts on behalf of Test & Rollouts, communicating the growth and evolution of our work, while providing timely updates to the broader department and organization.
• Partner with Corporate Communications team to align on overall strategy for internal and external communications, ensuring consistency across the Test & Rollouts team.

 

Project Management:

Independently lead and manage complex projects and initiatives across multiple workstreams.

• Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of process improvement initiatives and other various projects from initiation through to completion and live.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables for multiple projects and initiatives, ensuring adherence to budget and resource allocation.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across RD sub-teams and other departments to ensure alignment and support for initiatives.
• Drive adoption of new processes and tools across the
