Job Description

• Responsible of the accounting transactions
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare Financial Statements
• Manage and review all the tax submission (VAT/Intrastat/Income tax/ CEPS/Other taxes)
• Ensure that the general ledger entries comply with French standards, and that the monthly closing is carried out on time and in compliance with client's reporting requirements, in order to provide reliable statements to the local management controller.
• Ensure that all balance sheet accounts are justified and documented and properly reconciled
• Take care of social and tax declarations, ensuring that client complies with local regulations
• Produce the annual tax return and appendices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance or Accounting or a comparable education
• 5+ years’ strong accounting and financial experience, ideally in an international company in similar position
• Adequate knowledge and understanding of accounting principles. Well-rounded technical financial skills balanced with sound business judgment
• Adequate knowledge of financial compliance & controls; theoretical and practical understanding of working in a regulated industrial environment
• Ability to manage complexity & work under pressure
• Work in matrix organization, cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and process simplification
• Team orientation, structured working approach and detail orientated
• High sense accountability and ownership, flexible and resilient
• Excellent / advanced Excel user and flexibility to learn new IT systems & applications
• Fluent in English
