In this role, you will manage the interaction and oversight of custodians, securities lenders, and outsourced fund accounting. You will actively drive the coordination, management, and escalation of operational activities with AllianzGI's external service providers. You will be responsible for the success of these relationships and ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

 

In this function, you will report to the Head of Fund Administration Support (FAS) Germany in Frankfurt.

 

This position will be based in our Frankfurt office.

 

What you will do

 

• Organize and moderate Service Review Boards with service providers and custodians, and participate in due diligence processes
• Negotiate and review Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Implement and manage oversight frameworks and controls, with a particular focus on Sec Lending Agents
• Inquiry Management from internal and external partners across the middle and back-office process chain
• Provide methodological and functional expertise, offering support to internal stakeholders, such as institutional sales, client account management, products, distribution operations, middle office, and multi-manager teams
• Manage and resolve escalations from internal and external stakeholders
• Address complex topics (e.g., cash breaks, CSDR, securities lending, and SFTR-related issues) within project structures or BAU operations
• Support the Head of FAS Germany by identifying process improvements and potential digital transformation opportunities

 

What you bring

 

• Profound knowledge of the asset management process value chain, with a focus on middle and back office
• Several years of professional experience in the German asset management industry
• Seniority to effectively engage with internal and external clients and stakeholders at various senior levels
• Strong communicator with intercultural skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adopt a pragmatic approach to solutions
• In-depth understanding of relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., CSDR, SFTR)
• Team-oriented, proactive, and committed working style
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
