If you’re the best at what you do, come work at Innophase IoT!</p></div><p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a Senior Firmware Engineer with deep expertise in Zigbee, Thread, and IEEE 802.15.4 wireless stacks. The candidate will focus on architecting, developing, and optimizing embedded wireless protocol stacks on resource-constrained platforms, ensuring compliance, performance, and reliability.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Architect, design, and implement firmware solutions for Zigbee/Thread and IEEE 802.15.4-based products.</li> <li>Develop and optimize low-level drivers, MAC/PHY interfaces, and protocol stack layers.</li> <li>Debug and resolve wireless interoperability and certification issues using sniffers (Ubiqua, Wireshark, Perytons).</li> <li>Collaborate with hardware, QA, and product teams to ensure robust HW/SW co-design and regulatory compliance.</li> <li>Debug, analyze, and optimize power consumption and timing for battery-operated IoT devices.</li> <li>Support certification and compliance efforts for Zigbee/Thread-based products.</li> <li>Document software design, testing procedures, and release notes.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Competencies</strong></p> <ul> <li>12+ years of experience in embedded firmware development.</li> <li>Strong programming skills in C / Embedded C; assembly or scripting (Python) a plus.</li> <li>Expertise in IEEE 802.15.4 MAC/PHY, Zigbee, and Thread protocol stacks.</li> <li>Experience with embedded RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or Linux system programming).</li> <li>Proficiency in debug tools (JTAG, GDB, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, sniffers).</li> <li>Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, transceivers, and RF system design basics.</li> <li>Hands-on debugging and optimization for low-power wireless systems.</li> <li>Familiarity with IoT frameworks and domains like home automation, security, and energy management.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.</li> </ul> <p><st
