Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care Center

Overview

Everyone occasionally suffers minor cuts, scrapes, and bruises. For most, these wounds are an inconvenience, but not a cause for concern. That’s not the case for almost seven million Americans whose wound-healing process is hampered by a chronic condition such as diabetes or multiple sclerosis, poor circulation, or long-term immobility.

 

The Central Jersey Wound and Edema Treatment Center helps treat non-healing (chronic) wounds and infection, which can lead to more serious complications if not cared for properly.

 

Responsibilities

• Coordinates day to day operational issues of the Wound Center.
• Provide clinical support to Physicians when needed.
• Coordinate care of patients throughout center.
• Data gathering and performance improvement duties as needed by center to meet standards.
• Provide resource skills/experience in developing Centers and meeting goals of institution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is nursing required
• Master's degree preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse in NJ
• BLS required
• Wound Care Certification (CWS, CWCA, WOCN, WCC) required or obtained within 12 months of hire. 
• Previous healthcare experience
• Demonstrated ability to work independently
• Wound background
• Strong customer service skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently

Compensation Range: $44.00 - 74.80 per hour

 

The compensation above reflects the established range from CentraState Healthcare System (CSHS) for this position at the time the job was posted. CSHS considers many factors to determine compensation, including education, experience, skills, licenses, certification, and training.  As such, team member compensation may fall outside this range. 

 

Additionally, the compensation range reflects base salary and does not include extra shift rates or incentives tied to quality, productivity, etc., as applicable.
