What you will do

Lead Marketing Analyst will plan and execute global market research activities for the Upper Extremities Business Unit. This role will provide data analysis and insights to help drive global strategic initiatives and the long-term portfolio strategy. This includes market modeling and projections, customer research, competitive intelligence and communication of key insights and information through a variety of channels.

  • Manage competitor analysis and surveillance through various channels.
  • Create sustainable process to integrate global initiatives into the pre-commercialization plan.
  • Support global leaders on the development of the commercial strategy for their respective market.
  • Partner with global leaders to develop research strategies tailored to the specific markets.
  • Evaluate what current and potential customers need to drive value in the portfolio.
  • Deploy different approaches and methodologies of market research. Familiar with the most common types of qualitative and quantitative research in the design of market research: focus groups, one-on-one interviews, conjoint analysis and cluster analysis.
  • Synthesize market trends on sources of volume and strategic focus.
  • Create a standardized way to track KPIs as well as a consistent method to report back to the business.
  • Recognize and assess problems, opportunities and methods for improving existing reports.
  • Assist in evaluation of RFPs and recommendation of vendor decision.
  • Contribute specific analyses to aid in the construction of the marketing plan.

What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 4+ years of work experience required.
  • 2+ years market research experience preferred.
  • Medical technology industry experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excell, PowerBI, SQL is highly desirable.

Travel Percentage: 10%
