Grade VIII Senior HR Specialist - Employee Relations and Medical Workforce

Overview

To provide strong leadership within the Medical Workforce function and provide strong employee relations advice within the services.

To oversee the current processes and systems and recommend and implement any agreed changes throughout the services. Oversee the implementation and advise on any national agreements and policies within the area of Medical Workforce and Employee Relations.

Essential Criteria

Candidates must have by the closing date of application:

 

• A third level qualification preferably in Human Resources or Health Services Management or other relevant qualification (Quality & Qualifications Ireland Level 8 or equivalent) and/or professional membership CIPD would be an advantage).

                                                              AND

• 5 years + experience at a senior level in a Human Resource management role including developing, managing and delivering effective HR Strategies including medical workforce experience.

                                                              AND

• A track record of successful and innovative leadership including a record of delivering change through strong interpersonal and communications ability.

                                                              AND

• Experience of managing and working collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders, as relevant to the role.

                                                                           AND

• Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office

Post Specific Requirements

• Access to appropriate transport to fulfill the requirements of the role
• Flexibility with regard to working hours so demands of the post will  be met
